Jumping Branch Farm Horse Trials, December
1, 2007
Cherry Bomb finished 6th in the Open Preliminary division. She had a
fabulous clear cross-country round. Con Fuego also competed in the Open Preliminary division and placed well after dressage
and stadium, but decided to save cross-country for another day.
Sport Horse Stallion Expo, January 5, 2008
Atlantis attended the first annual Stallion Show in Raleigh, NC. Atlantis is a 6 year
old Knabstrupper Stallion imported from Germany. He showed his jumping talents in the free jumping chute in the
morning and did a dressage demo to music in the afternoon. He showed his wonderful talents and disposition.

Cross-Country School at Tamarack Hill Farm,
February 3, 2008
We all had a great day. Students that attended
were Tracey Ruff, Amy McCray, Katrina Grant, Amy Bissinger, Lindsey Cobb, Trish Murphey, Grete Majerle, and
Rachel Lilly. It was a little warm for the fuzzy horses, but we all appreciated a nice day!

Congratulations
to Amy Bissinger!
On February 23, Amy became the proud new owner of Willow. She is
a TB/QH cross, 15.1 hand, 4yr old Bay Mare. She hopes to event her in the future. Congrats and welcome to
the team!

The Ark Horse Trials, March 1-2, 2008 Con Fuego entered into the Training Division to start the season off, but unfortunately had to withdraw
because she didn't feel quite right. Better to sit one out, there is always next time. Paloma Blanca entered her first recognized event at the Maiden Level. She placed 4th after dressage with a
36.3 in the BN A test, which was quite good considering she had to compete in the ring next to the cows, her least favorite
animal! She was clear in her first cross-country over the difficult Maiden course. She also jumped clean stadium
to finish 3rd overall.
Jumping Branch Farm HT, Aiken, SC, March
7-9, 2008 Cherry Bomb and I braved the up and down weather
for her first recognized Preliminary. Dressage day on Friday was a soaking cold rain. She put in a decent test
despite the weather and put her mid pack with about 20 starters. Cross-country was a cold blistery wind in excess of
40mph. The warm-up jumps were blowing over! She went out and was amazing. She was clear and only had a few
time penalties, moving her up the leader-board. Stadium was tough for the last day, so we pulled three rails, but were
still happy with our outing despite the weather.
MacNair's D & CT, March 16, 2008 We had a full load for this event! It rained heavy the night before, so the footing was a little
sloppy, but the horses did well. Beginner Novice CT 6th Lindsey Admire and Metaman 41.60 (FODS) Section B 3rd Amanda Miller and Romantic

Morven Park HT, Leesburg, VA, March
29-30, 2008 Cherry Bomb received a 44.80 in dressage with 15 starters.
She then show jumped dropping just a rail. Sunday was cross-country which the temps didn't get out of the 30s!
She started off well, but we decided to retire after she had a very uncharacteristic stop and decided to tackle it another
day.
The Fork HT, Norwood, NC, April 11-13, 2008 Paloma Blanca and Romantic Endeavor competed in the Beginner Novice Horse Division. We had many
thunderstorms roll through on Dressage and Stadium day. These horses handled the weather. Paloma Blanca scored
a 24.1 in Dressage, dropped a few rails in stadium, but stayed in 1st. Romantic Endeavor scored a 33.2 , went
clear stadium, one of only 7 out of 24, moving up to 4th. Cross-country was a beautiful course. The footing
was slick from the rain, so you had to be careful. Paloma Blanca jumped everything great, but had some problems getting
into the bright blue water. Romantic Endeavor was jumping around great, but didn't want to get into the blue
water! I was happy with them anyway!

Fenridge Farm HT, June 1, 2008 June started out hot! Cherry went for a schooling event and did well. We
