Pivot is a 17.2 hand
Thoroughbred Stallion. Sire is Pleasant Colony who won the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness, but came in third in the Belmont
to just miss the Triple Crown. His dam was Young Ballerina who was unraced, but she is by Nijinski, by Northern Dancer. Pivot’s
dam also foaled War Emblem. From the Famous Claiborne Farm of KY, he then moved to Montana to first start his career with
Ann Womack of Montana Sport Horses. Pivot sired many foals that went onto different careers in eventing, hunters, and jumpers.
Pivot then moved onto Missouri with Amy Estates for a few years until coming to North Carolina. After not being ridden for
a quite a few years he has easily settled back into riding. He is working on his flatwork and hacking out in the woods. Pivot
has the sweetest disposition that passes onto his offspring. He expresses floaty gaits and uphill canter. In 2010, Pivot will
begin showing in dressage and eventing while also standing for the first time in North Carolina. Breeding fee is $1,000, but
book now for a $250 discount by March 15, 2010.
Pivot is registered in the AQHA Incentive Fund and is
also registered in the ApHC.
